Every EnergyARM project starts with a complete energy audit and health and safety investigation performed by a Building Performance Institute (BPI) Certified Building Analyst.  The results of this audit are then run through REM/Rate calculations and a building file for the project is delivered digitally to a Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) Certified HERS Rater.  The HERS Rater validates the results of the audit, performs an improvement analysis and generates the HERS Index for the home.  The EnergyARM process streamlines this work and minimizes errors by providing a step-by-step data collection mechanism for the Building Analyst.  It automates the generation of the REM/Rate building file for the HERS Rater and provides cost data for the improvement analysis based on actual bids from local contractors.
